Banter: Russia’s 5th gen fighter aloft

Russia’s 5th gen (jet) fighter Sukhoi T-50 PAK FA – Future Frontline Aircraft System took up to the skies with its maiden flight in late January 2010. The Su PAK FA was developed as a response to America’s F-22 and F-35 stealth fighter aircrafts. The aspect of the plane resembles to the Lockheed’s F-22, with some “borrowed” elements from the cancelled YF-23, but as usual, the russian jet is larger and heavier than its US counterparts.
