On April 26th 1986 a core meltdown in the reactor number 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant occurred. It is still considered by many the worst man-made disaster in history. Today, after 24 years, the exclusion zone still holds the invisible threat of radioactivity. Perhaps one of the best films presenting the events that took place in Pripyat and at the plant is Discovery Channel’s The Battle of Chernobyl.

Russia’s 5th gen (jet) fighter Sukhoi T-50 PAK FA – Future Frontline Aircraft System took up to the skies with its maiden flight in late January 2010. The Su PAK FA was developed as a response to America’s F-22 and F-35 stealth fighter aircrafts. The aspect of the plane resembles to the Lockheed’s F-22, with some “borrowed” elements from the cancelled YF-23, but as usual, the russian jet is larger and heavier than its US counterparts.
Anime is not for everyone. With only a handful of titles under my belt I can’t call myself an anime expert, but I’ve seen just enough to make a list with the top titles I’ve enjoyed the most. As with any other form of art, there’s plenty of junk and not enough high-grade stuff out there.
